With Christmas and New Years Eve fast approaching, it can be difficult to accumulate enough outfits for festive events and celebrations, not to mention enough beauty looks to compliment said outfits.
To help guide you along your merry (get it) way, we have compiled some simple steps to help you acquire two different beauty looks that you can utilise with almost any outfit for upcoming summer festivities.
Nice & natural
The barely there make-up look is perfect for Christmas Day. A nude, fresh-faced look will mean that your glowing skin is the centre of the look and will last throughout the day’s festivities.
Apply a thin layer of your preferred moisturiser and then prep your skin with a primer.
Since this look is light in the base, the primer will help your skin glow and make the look last through all the delicious food and drink that you will no doubt be consuming.
Take a tinted moisturiser or a light foundation and blend into the skin. Quickly dust the cheeks with a light bronzer or pink blush (whichever yu would usually wear) and then apply mascara to the lashes.
Lastly, pop on your favourite nude lip balm- punted lips will complete your look and keep you well moisturised throughout December 25.
All over bronze is perfect for a more formal family Christmas or for New Years Eve celebrations, it’s a go-to party look that you should learn to master pronto.
Start with your favourite moisturiser and compliment with an illuminating primer to ensure skin is will hydrated and glowing.
The sparkling particles in the illuminating primer will give your skin that extra lift.
Dab foundation onto the face and then take a deep golden bronzer, dusting it into the cheekbones.
To do your eyes, first apply a concealer onto the eyelids.
Take a medium bronze eye shadow and apply it in from the last triangle of your eye.
Lastly, take your lightest bronze and buff to blend.
Applying brown eyeliner to the eyes will help define them.
Top off the look with mascara and finish with a gloss lip.
To change this look for different events try changing up your lip colour, for example red to coral to burgundy.
This look will go perfectly with big, bold curls.
